This book is an easy read about a deep and interesting man. The book keeps good pace and Mr. Fickett does a wonderful job detailing the stories of Jimmy's life in an entertaining way that is easy for the reader to connect with. The book is a career biography and touches on all of the most compelling moments of Jimmy's life both personal, as it relates to his success, as well as his business prowess. There is no doubt that God has blessed Jimmy Pursell and this book is shinning testament to his committed life as a believer, a husband, a CEO and a father.
I would recommend this book to anyone who owns a business or a company who might be wrestling with how to manage and run that business with christian principles with all the temptations and webs brought on by our existential American business culture. It is not a "How To" book but instead it is a case study in how one man decided to turn his business around for Christ and how God chose to bless him, and his business, through that decision.
